   i am thinking about to buy registered avira how my /IT/ friend recomend to me..he has best experience and also using some firewall not from avira ,, but now i am using just free version which not support anti spyware.. so i am thinking use on few days avg… till these days i used panda ,,, i really dont know if was good on 100 úercent after registered avira i ll have more experience

   AVG screwed up ALL computers in the Netherlands. It had updated and saw ‘user32.dll’ as a trojan. Every comp had the BSOD. Had to restore the file with the Windows XP cd.
   Luckily I had Avira XD.

   Avira is the BEST!!! (Avast has very good realtime protection, but not a great detection rate…)

   Avira is my favorite, higher detection rate and my system performs better with it. I had a problem with Avast, it found a virus on my machine and it couldn’t remove it in any way and it wouldn’t quarantine it.

    Since using these i have had no problems with viruses,spyware ,or malware.

    I’ve tried them all and Avira is the absolute best free anti-virus application available. AVG is pure garbage and has more false positives then legit detections.

    i am still debating which one to get out of the 3. i used to have avast! but it gave me a virus so my uncle suggested something else. so now i wanna know if avast! has improved its software and which one i should use? i just want something simple that will keep my info safe and easy to use and finds major and minor viruses quickly. any suggestions? thanks!

    o ive been using antivir for years and it worked fine. but i decided to try somethin new so i went with AVG 8 and it SUX. to slow and uses to much ram. a scan took me 4:45!! So im thinkin of goin back to antivir free but i saw here avast. avast looks like a better free program. more features. but whats a better program:

    or
    avast! Professional Edition

    most importantly which appears to use less ram and resources
