    2nd thing, AVG is not exactly 1# or in fact not even near 10# avg has a 69-ish% of detection, and avira free has a 96%-ish detection rate.

    yeah i had purchased avg 8.0 and i still got a bad virus by the name of privacy_danger tried to remove it but it locks everything up even the task manager but luckly i had malwarebytes and it found and removed that piece of crap privacy_danger virus MALWARE BYTES RULES

    what about avast? on my brothers PC it detected 3 viruses and 3 trojan horses that avg 8 missed.

    Love my AVG 8.0 I got a few viruses with V 7.0 but none as of yet with 8.0. The only way I know it’s running is when the little “Scan” message pops up dont slow down my PC that I can tell anyway. I have the free one if anyone wounders.

    How can the anti-virus program have a virus? Unless your getting it illegally, if you get the program from a reputable source who made it for example? This program has been around for years.

    Dude this is seriously by far the best free antivirus software that i have ever seen. WAAAY better tan Norton….. Constant warnings that end up being complete bull crap and what not. When i got Systemworks i didn’t know there was going to be a PMS feature to it!
