norton is the best …
norton is the best becouse it updates every 3-5 mins and norton uses very little ram and its not bloded and it dose update very fast norton 2009 is very lite its even liter than avast if you want to try and prove me wrong look at norton running on task manager and and then avast norton uses less ram and resourses the 2009 version of norton blows any thing away! now i know norton 2005- 2006 whernt all that great but they ahve worked on it and there one of the best now

Mcafee is also a slow one… it can cost for the better version… but its still not nearly as effective as AVG, Anti-Vir, Kaspersky or Nod32… so thats just silly. You might aswell have said i love Norton too

Avast is slow for scanning. Its also a bigger resource hog than many.
AVG 8.5 is much better and quicker, and just as effective.
Paid antivirus? Its proven that Kaspersky’s version is much better and way more effective than NOD32. So its your difference of opinion here, versus actual facts? I dont see any factual information you provide…

No it didn’t, blaming AVIRA is easy but you should atleast ponder over what YOU might have done wrong, maybe you didn’t update it regularly for instance; there are other numerous possibilities too. Besides, AVAST! is behind AVIRA in many aspects including: Detection, rate heuristics & false positives according to the av-comparatives team, not to mention that AVAST! is a major resource hog whereas AVIRA runs smooth as silk…
