   I would not recommend it unless you just want a internal firewall for testing. Installing anything onto a box that is acting as the firewall is usually a bad idea.

   Comodo Firewall (in my opinion) is the gratest! It’s freeware, and its one of the most powerful one out there (and it’s proven on the actual site itself - AND third party).

   Smoothwall is better if you have an extra computer to turn into the firewall. Otherwise yeah zone alarm is good.

   Ad-Aware is more comparable to spybot then AVG. So go with AVG if you have spybot already.

    ive used Sygate for the past few years. it is a software firewall though.its great but now i have vista and sygate isnt vista-compatible. right now im using avg’s trial firewall. when it expires im thinkin about gettin Zone. do u recommend zone alarm over smoothwall(free version)?

    question about antispyware tools: i have spybot and im going to also use either Ad-Aware or avg antispyware. which one do u recommend?
