Okay, can someone tell me how to fix this problem, i turned it off and everything and it still doesn't go any faster… and it's not my computer because I play other online games all of the time, please tell me what to do to speed up the Blizzard Downloader/WoW updater.
First go to your options on firewall settings and look for exceptions once there add WoW Down-loader.

Well do not turn it off. Open up the ports World of Warcraft is using, and if there is a application control, allow World of Warcraft. Also open the ports on your router. Do this by going to start -> run -> cmd and in the command box type:
ipconfig
You will get a bunch of information. Look for Ip Address…. And then it will say a number like 192.126.2.2 or something. Type that number in the web browser, and from there look for documentation for your router/modem. In the docs try to find out how to open ports, and open the ports that WoW uses. Also visit this site:

And select your firewall. This will give you step by step directions on getting it to work. Also click on the Windows XP Firewall and follow those directions.
