At 10:50 u say the kaspersky is realy heavy, but it isnt. The Reason why you got slowed down right there was because it was installing / downloading updates. Look down right corner.

  11. But in sandbox , if …
But in sandbox , if “virus” makes the changes in the sys. sittings , the sandbox will not save it?

    norton 2008 is medium…
norton 2009 is as light as NOD32(but norton quick scan only took about 45s for me & update every 5-15min)…

  16. you should compare …
you should compare it yourself for me NOD32 is light and Kaspersky is light/medium

    Norton is heavy

KIS 2009 was heavy too but KIS 2010 is light/medium :)

  17. how lightweight is …
how lightweight is this compared to nod32 version 4?

  18. he makes like 7 …
he makes like 7 vids then Uploads one by one

  19. lol he said “got …
lol he said “got more videos to do” and its been 2 weeks since hes made one..

  20. this software is …
this software is the greatest.. I’m moving to a school for 1 year where you stay on the school until the weekends.. KIS 2010 is gonna protect my laptop the whole year with 1 year license

Good job Kaspersky Lab for releasing the greatest software ever

  21. The protection …
The protection tests are rigged the way they were run. Setting application control to “untrusted” default turns KIS from blocking a blacklist of bad programs (or programs its heuristic analyzer thinks are bad) into a KIS blocking any program not on its whitelist. It’s not surprising that nothing got past it, since the only programs allowed to run are known, good programs.

  22. Anyone who is still …
Anyone who is still running IE6 is either Crazy or a glutton for Punishment!! Matt uses it for demonstration purposes only. IE6 has more holes than a sieve. Sandbox or no, with newer versions of IE and so many other browsers to choose from, continuing to use IE6 is just plain Idiotic. UPGRADE!!

  23. With a sandbox your …
With a sandbox your protected like anything so if you have Internet Explorer 6 then you dont really need to upgrade to Internet Explorer 8 or Firefox! (ONLY IF YOU RUN IT IN A SANDBOX THOUGH!)

  24. Do you have to pay …
Do you have to pay for a subscription to Kaspersky?

I mean If i bought the CD of Kaspersky and then installed it would I need to pay a subscription every year like with Norton or is it just the price of the CD or the “Software” that I pay for?

  25. KIS and KAV 2010 …
KIS and KAV 2010 were found to have a vulnerability that allows protection to be disabled remotely or locally by running a specific script. A fix was just released. That is why it is best to have multiple layers of protection ( one AV, one hips, virtual browser, e.t.c.) instead of relying on one program.
